1. Data controller

Contact for any privacy matter: support@avtcadcam.com. This policy applies in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and Romanian data protection legislation.

2. What data we process

• Contact form: name, company, email, phone number, service of interest and the description of your project.
• Communications: the data you provide to us by email or by phone.
• Technical data: IP address, date and time, browser and pages visited, recorded by the server for security and operational reasons.

3. What we use it for and on what legal basis

• Responding to your request for information or a quotation and managing the subsequent business relationship: pre-contractual measures or performance of a contract (Art. 6.1.b GDPR) and legitimate interest in handling professional enquiries (Art. 6.1.f).
• Ensuring the security and proper functioning of the website: legitimate interest (Art. 6.1.f).
• Complying with legal obligations, such as accounting and tax obligations (Art. 6.1.c).
• Sending you commercial communications: only if you have given us your consent (Art. 6.1.a), which you may withdraw at any time.

To submit the form, the name, email and project description fields are mandatory; without them we cannot handle your request.

4. How long we keep it

Contact data is kept while we handle your request and, if no business relationship results, for up to 12 months from the last contact. If there is a business relationship, we keep it for the periods required by accounting, tax and commercial legislation. After that it is deleted or anonymized.

5. Who we share the data with

We do not sell your data. We only share it with providers acting as processors: GoDaddy, which hosts this website, and FormSubmit (formsubmit.co), the service we use for the contact form. When you submit the form, your data passes through FormSubmit, which forwards it to our email address; this provider therefore processes that information in order to deliver it to us. We recommend that you read the privacy policies of both on their websites. We may also disclose data to authorities when required by law.

6. International transfers

If a provider, such as GoDaddy or FormSubmit, processes data outside the European Economic Area, we do so only with adequate safeguards, such as the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses or the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.

7. Your rights

You may exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, objection and portability, and withdraw your consent where it has been used as the legal basis, by writing to support@avtcadcam.com and stating your request. We will reply within a maximum of one month. If you believe we are not processing your data correctly, you may lodge a complaint with the Romanian National Supervisory Authority for Personal Data Processing (ANSPDCP, www.dataprotection.ro) or with the authority of your country of residence.

8. Automated decisions and minors

We do not take decisions based solely on automated processing and we do not create profiles. This website is aimed at companies and professionals, not at minors.

9. Security

We apply reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect data against unauthorized access, loss or alteration.

10. Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will publish the new version on this page together with its update date.
